About Port Byron Youth Football Club
The Port Byron Youth Football Club was founded in 2024 by CJ Kudla, Port Byron Varsity Football coach with a vision of creating a positive, community-driven football program for local youth. Built entirely by dedicated volunteers, the club was established to give children in our community the opportunity to learn the game of football while developing teamwork, discipline, confidence, and sportsmanship.
In 2025, the club was invited to participate in a trial season with the Finger Lakes Youth Football and Cheer League (FLYFCL), marking our first true season of league play. That year provided an exciting foundation for the program and demonstrated the strong support from families and players throughout the region.
In January 2026, Port Byron Youth Football Club was officially accepted as a full member of the FLYFCL, making the upcoming fall season our first official year in the league. With this milestone comes tremendous excitement as we continue building a program focused on youth development, community pride, and a love of the game.
Our fall season is played at Alberici Field, where young athletes from kindergarten through 6th grade in the Port Byron Central School District, Union Springs Central School District, and surrounding communities come together to play, learn, and grow.
As a fully volunteer-run organization, Port Byron Youth Football Club is powered by the passion and commitment of local coaches, parents, and community supporters who believe in providing a fun, safe, and supportive environment for young athletes.
We are proud of how far we’ve come in a short time and are excited about the future as we continue to grow youth football in our community. Welcome to the Club!
